Railfanning Eastern Arizona
On Monday, December 28th, 2020, I took a day trip to the Eastern Part of Arizona to take pictures of trains. First, I headed to Miami and then to Globe. On the way back I made a detour through Heber-Overgaard, via Show Low, where I saw an old Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Caboose.

Miami Train Depot
The Miami Train Depot was built in the 1920s by the Arizona Eastern Railway. The depot was used by the Arizona Eastern Railway and the Southern Pacific Railroad until 1933 when the last passenger train stopped at the depot. Fortunately, many years later the Miami Train Depot saw a passenger train once again when the Copper Spike Excursion Train made a special stop at the Depot on April 28th, 2010. However, that was also the last passenger train to stop at the depot due to new ownership of the railroad. Currently, the Miami Train Depot is Privately Owned.
