Railfanning From San Diego to Phoenix
On June 8th, 2017, I was heading home to Phoenix, Arizona, from a vacation in San Diego, California. Along the way I did some railfanning.
The San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railway Interstate 8 Overpass
This bridge was built between 1965 and 1968 for the San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railway. The bridge was used until the 1980s, when the railroad discontinued service. In the early 2000s, it was used again. Currently, it sits unused by any trains.
